The Philadelphia Eagles remain in the hunt for the NFC's final Wild Card spot, but it's hard not to look ahead to the 2022 NFL Draft given they will likely have three first-round picks. Eagles fans will love who Todd McShay projects the team to use them on in his first 2022 NFL mock draft.

Eagles Mock Draft

McShay has the Eagles taking Michigan defensive end David Ojabo at No. 10 overall to upgrade a rather underperforming pass rush. Philadelphia has posted the third-fewest sacks in the NFL (21) and Ojabo is coming off an impressive season in which he racked up 11.0 sacks and 5 forced fumbles.

Philadelphia is then slated to take Utah linebacker Devin Llloyd at No. 14 overall. This would be a bit of a shock simply because the Eagles have taken just one linebacker in the first round over the last 40 years. Lloyd's versatility makes him stick out from the pack, though. He finished the season with 96 tackles (20.0 for loss), 7.0 sacks and 4 interceptions.

With the final first round pick, McShay has the Eagles taking Ohio State wide receiver Garrett Wilson. Pairing his speed up alongside DeVonta Smith would give head coach Nick Sirianni a powerful pass-catching duo. Wilson showcased his ability to get into the end zone by ending the season with 12 touchdowns.

It's not often that an NFL team is able to address three areas of need in one first round, yet the Eagles have a prime opportunity to do just that. For now, Philadelphia fans will keep clinging on the hope that this squad can make the playoffs, with odds set at +180, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
