All eyes are on the Miami Dolphins after they puzzlingly parted ways with former head coach Brian Flores on Black Monday. Owner Stephen Ross has already ruled out Jim Harbaugh due to his love for the University of Michigan, which removes one strong candidate from the pool.

Dolphins Coaching Candidates

Miami is now scheduled to interview an AFC East rival for the opening.

Dolphins Coaching Rumors

Miami has reportedly requested an interview with Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. The former head coach knows plenty about the Dolphins given that he's served as Buffalo's DC since the 2017 campaign.

The Bills' defensive dominance has made Frazier a prime candidate for the several openings around the league. Buffalo ranks No. 1 in fewest yards and points allowed this season. They've ranked in the top five in both of those categories two of the past three years.

Frazier's one prior stint as a head coach didn't go as planned. He went 18-29-1 in three full seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and failed to make the playoffs each year.

The coaching veteran would give Miami another strong defensive mind to lead this team after Flores' departure, which would be a great fit given the Dolphins' talent on that side of the ball.
