Devonta Smith Fantasy Outlook Could Benefit From Easy Strength of Schedule in 2021

Rookie wide receivers can be hit-or-miss in fantasy football, but the Philadelphia Eagles' Devonta Smith has a lot working in his favor that points to being a "hit" in 2021.
A factor that should really excited fantasy managers is his easy strength of schedule. Pro Football Focus ranks the Eagles' 2021 schedule as the NFL's most favorable for wide receivers in fantasy football.
Top-3 easiest WR schedules this season for Fantasy Football:
— PFF (@PFF) September 2, 2021
1️⃣ Eagles
2️⃣ Giants
3️⃣ Patriots https://t.co/0s3se8f7v0
Notice a trend in that top three? Playing in the NFC East is a boon for WRs this year.
Smith gets two games against the Dallas Cowboys, who ranked No. 21 in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric in 2020. He also gets two games against the New York Giants (No. 22), one against the Detroit Lions (No. 32) and one against the Las Vegas Raiders (No. 26).
He should also have no shortage of opportunities to take advantage of those matchups. With Travis Fulgham released, the Eagles return only one wide receiver (Greg Ward) who eclipsed even 60 targets in 2020.
With a previously established chemistry working with Jalen Hurts, Smith could be in for a true breakout season as a rookie.
He checks in at WR38 in The Duel's 2021 PPR fantasy football rankings.
