The Las Vegas swung for the fences this offseason and pulled off a home run deal to trade for star wide receiver Davante Adams. Now it turns out another disgruntled top wideout could be on the move after it was revealed Deebo Samuel has requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers.

While Raiders fans would love to another All-Pro pass-catcher, quarterback Derek Carr has other thoughts.

Carr tweeted out his surprised reaction to the news of Samuel's trade request, which prompted someone in the replies to gauge the QB's interest in landing the current Niners WR. Carr shot that down, saying "noooo sir that money is for [Hunter] Renfrow."

Carr's reply makes it clear: He wants to keep playing with Hunter Renfrow for as long as he can, and he wouldn't losing risk their connection, even for a splashy trade. That showcases how close these two key players are, and it's great to see that Carr wants Renfrow to cash in after a breakout 2021 season.

Renfrow shouldered the load for Las Vegas last year as injuries and off-field troubles tested the team's wideout depth. He responded with a career season, setting new highs in receptions (103), yards (1,038) and TDs (9).

The Clemson product is set to enter the final year of his rookie deal in 2022, but after his dominance in 2021, Las Vegas should make every effort possible to retain one of the best route-runners in the league.
