D.J. Chark Tweets Classy Goodbye to Lions After Panthers Signing

DJ Chark signed with the Carolina Panthers this week as they continue to rebuild their offense and is expected to play a prominent role with his new team. While he started his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars and only played one season with the Detroit Lions, Chark exited Detroit after the 2022 campaign there and left the fans with a heartfelt message Friday on Twitter.

Chark was solid for the Lions when he was on the field, but injuries limited him to 11 games in 2022. He did haul in 30 catches for 502 yards and 3 touchdowns, averaging over 16 yards per catch.

It may have only been one year in Detroit, but it's clear the city and people made a huge impact on Chark and that's something for every Lions fan to hang their hat on.
