In a game that's billed as one of the best regular season matchups of 2022, the Kansas City Chiefs host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. This matchup has all of the fireworks, including the two best quarterbacks in football between Patrick Mahomes and Allen.

Kansas City's secondary has their hands full. Allen and his Bills offense rack up the most passing yards in the NFL while ranking second in passing TDs and points scored. Unfortunately, the injury bug has hit Kansas City's defensive unit hard.

Both cornerback Rashad Fenton and safety Bryan Cook were officially ruled out for this contest. Rookie Trent McDuffie, a first-round draft pick, is trying to make his way back from the IR and is still very much up in the air for this clash.

As pointed out by Chiefs insider Pete Sweeney, this means Kansas City will roll out two other rookie cornerbacks to defend a high-powered Bills aerial attack, including fourth-round talent Joshua Williams and seventh-rounder Jaylen Watson.

McDuffie's potential return, even if on a limited basis, will provide a much-needed boost to this shallow unit. Kansas City has allowed a bottom-10 mark of passing yards allowed, passing TDs, and the most completions across the league.

As it stands, the Chiefs enter this battle of titans as slim 2.5-point home underdogs per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
