The NFL's Wild Card Weekend is here with the 2021 regular season officially over. One of the matchups slated for this weekend is an AFC tilt between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Although fans may wonder which team will come out on top, FanDuel Sportsbook is currently backing the Chiefs as the major opening favorite.

Steelers vs Chiefs Wild Card Odds

The Chiefs have opened as the decisive 12.5-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Kansas City has -108 odds to cover the spread, while Pittsburgh's odds for doing so are -112.

The Steelers were in danger of missing the playoffs in what could potentially be Ben Roethlisberger's final season. However, a 3-1 stretch over their last four games — plus some help from other teams — salvaged Pittsburgh's postseason aspirations.

On the other hand, the Chiefs have had a resurgence of their own. Kansas City went 10-2 in their final 12 games following a 2-3 start to begin the postseason as the AFC's No. 2 seed. With a chance to play in the Super Bowl for the third straight year, Kansas City is all-in this postseason.

The Chiefs currently have the second-best odds (+450) to win Super Bowl 56, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Meanwhile, the Steelers are a long shot to win the championship at +9000 odds.
