Ahead of the biggest game of the year, the Kansas City Chiefs are focused on creating a perfect game plan to beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57. While the main focus shifts toward the game, that hasn't stopped the rumors about Andy Reid potentially retiring.

He's 64, after all, and has been an NFL head coach for a full 24 years dating back to 1999. Chiefs CEO and Chairman Clark Hunt recently weighed in on the retirement rumors.

With an air of hopeful thinking, Hunt isn't buying the rumors. "I think Andy [Reid] is having too much fun coaching the Chiefs right now ... I think he's really enjoying what he's doing ... hopefully he'll stay with us a bunch of years and win many more Super Bowls," said Hunt.

It's clear that Reid sticking around is best for the business. Together with Patrick Mahomes, the duo is on one of the best runs over the last half-decade. The Chiefs are heading to their third Super Bowl appearance in the past four years and have made the AFC Championship (or further) in all five of Mahomes' seasons under center.

It's a special pairing and one that every member of the Chiefs front office and fanbase wants to stick together for the foreseeable future. As it stands, the Chiefs are 1.5-point underdogs in Super Bowl 57, per Super Bowl odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
