The Buffalo Bills may have started off the season with a close loss, but they bounced back in a major way in Week 2. Josh Allen and company looked like the team to beat on Sunday as they demolished the Miami Dolphins by a score of 35-0. However, the team is still being disrespected in the odds to win the Super Bowl.

The Bills currently have the third-best odds to take home the Lombardi Trophy at +1100, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Those odds trail two other teams in the Kansas City Chiefs (+500) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+550).

Super Bowl Odds

Yes, the Chiefs have made the Super Bowl in each of the last two seasons. They hardly look like the same squad in 2021, though. Kansas City is coming off a loss to the Baltimore Ravens and its defense has struggled to step up. The Chiefs have given up at least 29 points in each of the first two games.

The Buccaneers have also had some close calls. It came down to the wire in Week 1 as Tampa Bay needed a last-second field goal to come away victorious. Quarterback Tom Brady also found himself in a one-possession game in the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2.

Meanwhile, it looks like the Bills have found their stride. They just put together their largest shutout win since 1992 and are the front-runners in the AFC East division. Overall, Buffalo's defense has given up the second-fewest yards per game through the first two weeks of the season (234.0).

There is no reason the Chiefs and Buccaneers should have double the odds the Bills do right now. Buffalo is primed to make a deep playoff run and is the top threat to dethrone Kansas City as AFC champions. Simply put, this is a team that should not be overlooked as the season rolls on.
