The 2021 NBA season is in full swing. Wednesday's basketball action features a primetime matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

Here's three of the best prop bets for Lakers-Mavericks, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Lakers vs Mavericks Best Prop Bets

1. LeBron James - 4+ Made Threes: (+225)

LeBron James is shooting a career-high 7.8 threes this season. While he's making only 35.2% of his shots from the outside, he's about to face a Mavericks team that struggles mightily against deep balls. Dallas surrenders the eighth-highest opponent 3-point percentage (35.9%). With Luka Doncic out again tonight, the Lakers may be tempted to let it rain from outside with Dallas missing one of its better perimeter defenders. Asking four is a lot, but the payout of +225 odds is too enticing to pass up.

2. Kristaps Porzingis - Points: Over 21.5 (-110)

Luka Doncic will miss his third straight game tonight and that leaves the Mavericks with one true offensive threat: big man Kristaps Porzingis. KP is putting up an insane 29.9% usage rate in the past two games sans Doncic, and scoring 18.5 points per game. With the Lakers playing at the NBA's second-highest pace (101.06), we'll see a lot of back-and-forth scoring tonight and KP should be in for a big night.

3. Dwight Powell - Rebounds: Over 3.5 (-115)

Doncic's absence also vacates his team-leading 8.0 rebounds per game. Dwight Powell stands to benefit the most on the boards, averaging 3.0 rebounds per game over the past two games and upping his team-rebounding percentage to 27.3%. That ranks second behind only Kristaps Porzingis, and considering the Lakers surrender the fourth-highest opponent rebounds per game (47.2), Powell hitting 3.5 boards seems promising.
