The Minnesota Vikings placed the franchise tag on Anthony Harris, in a move that took many fans and analysts by surprise. However, given the limited cap space the Vikings are working with, there are quite a few rumblings that the team could look to trade the talented safety.

And there should be plenty of competition for his services, as he was Pro Football Focus' top ranked safety in pass coverage among qualified players. So with that in mind, here are three of the most likely trade destinations for Harris.

3. Houston Texans

Prior to the latest Tom Brady news, the Houston Texans were the biggest story in the NFL. While this team has become increasingly unpredictable, they do need to address this secondary. Houston's pass defense graded out as the league's seventh-worst unit, per Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics. After re-signing Bradley Roby, adding Harris could help this unit get better in a hurry.

2. Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys could use an upgrade on the backend of their secondary – especially after losing Byron Jones. Harris would be a natural fit on the team, though cap space could be an issue after signing Amari Cooper and placing a franchise tag on Dak Prescott. If Dallas can make the money work, however, Harris could help stabilize a secondary that received a bottom-10 pass defense grade by DVOA.

1. Miami Dolphins

Don't look now, but the Miami Dolphins are starting to build a real identity. With Xavien Howard and Byron Jones, they arguably have the best cornerback duo in the NFL. Adding a talent like Harris, who is coming off a career-high 6 interceptions, could solidify the backend and make this secondary really dangerous.
