Lakers Get Bad News on Anthony Davis' Latest Injury Update

The Los Angeles Lakers are the defending the champions of the NBA, and they're also sporting the second-best record in the West. But things could get tricky in the near future as they may have to go without their star power forward for some time.
Anthony Davis Injury Update
To Lakers fans' dismay, Anthony Davis unfortunately suffered a setback in his recovery from right Achilles tendonosis in Sunday's game against the Denver Nuggets.
Lakers All-Star Anthony Davis re-aggravated his right Achilles tendonosis and there's some swelling, source tells ESPN. He will get an MRI on Monday.

Davis ended his Sunday with just 14 minutes of action under his belt before leaving the game with the aggravated right Achilles.
Given this is the second time he has suffered such an injury this season, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect a more extended absence before we see him back on the court. The length of that absence, though, is undetermined as Davis is still expected to undergo an MRI on his Achilles on Monday before a more concrete timetable for recovery and return can be determined.
