With the MLB offseason underway, all eyes have been on free agent slugger Aaron Judge. Everyone wants to know where the 2022 AL MVP will end up, which has led to his staying out of the public eye for the most part over the last few weeks.
While Judge hasn't announced where he'll play in 2023, he did make a surprising public appearance on Friday. The towering superstar appeared in a segment with The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, where the duo surprised unsuspecting baseball fans at the MLB Flagship Store in New York City.

The "Celebrity Photobomb" segment had Fallon and Judge dressed up like a Yankees player and an MLB umpire, respectively. Fans were led into the photo area where they took a picture in the batter's box, not knowing who was behind them until the celebrity duo revealed themselves.
From adult fans to children, everyone was speechless whenever Judge took off his mask. He's become one of the most recognizable players in baseball since debuting with the New York Yankees in 2016, especially around the Big Apple.
It also wasn't the first time that Judge appeared on The Tonight Show. He first made an appearance on the program in 2017 but has since returned multiple times, including for a segment with former Yankee Robinson Cano just last year.
While the surprise video was hilarious and heartfelt at the same time, it's only a temporary distraction from Judge's free agent situation. Multiple teams have already been connected to the three-time Silver Slugger, who's sure to cause a bidding war for his services.
In the meantime, fans can only wait to see where he ends up.
