Aaron Jones Makes Surprise Appearance on Pro Football Focus' Top-10 RB List Heading Into 2019 Season

Pro Football Focus (PFF) has become the standard for NFL player rankings over the past few years as one of the main suppliers of data for the 32 teams. As PFF does, they released their top-10 running backs heading into the 2019 NFL season, and there's a name or two that stick out a little more than the others.

When looking at this list, most of the names match the top-10 RBs heading into the 2019 fantasy football season. However, one player didn't receive a grade rank for 2018 and he still made the 2019 list. That is Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones.

Jones is seen by many as a potential fantasy breakout in 2019 and Yahoo! Fantasy expert Brad Evans has been vocal in his praise for the third-year back this offseason. Evans said he sees Jones as a RB1, despite an ADP of 30 (RB15), and showed his approval of the PPF rankings with an eyes emoji.
Another thing going in Jones' favor is that new Packers head coach Matt LaFleur seemingly plans to take the training wheels off and increase the RB's touches. LeFleur has continually mentioned how Jones' skillset can be utilized well in the passing game, which is likely good for the Packers and fantasy owners alike.

With a vote of confidence from PFF as well as his head coach, the sky is the limit for Jones during the 2019 NFL season.
