When are the 2019 Oscars?

The Oscars will be televised on Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. EST.

Who's hosting the 2019 Oscars?

The 2019 Oscars won't have a host this year, and it marks the first time since 1989 that the award show will be without one. A number of presenters have already been named as a proverbial fill-in, but everyone is really wondering who will win the awards.

Who are the Best Director nominees for the 2019 Oscars?

The field this year for Best Director was whittled down to five choices, who are all equally deserving of the award. They could all go home with the Oscar, but only one can be awarded the coveted award.

While there is a clear favorite here, unlike the odds Best Actor, these are the odds for Best Director, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Out of all the odds for the Oscars, this one has the heaviest favorite in Alfonso Cuaron (-900) for his work on "Roma." Roma is also nominated for a slew of other awards including Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Actress and Best Screenplay. Cuaron has won an Oscar before for "Gravity," bringing home Best Achievement in Directing and Best Achievement in Film Editing.

Cuaron is not the only big-name director who has yet to win an Oscar for Best Director as Spike Lee is second in odds (+750) for "BlackKklansman."

There is a significant drop in odds following Lee with Adam McKay for "Vice" and Pawl Pawlikowski for "Cold War" at +2400, slightly ahead of Yorgos Lanthimos for "The Favourite" at +2800.

Pick your favorite, but appreciate all the amazing work done by these directors.
