Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James left the Christmas Day game against the Golden State Warriors with a groin injury and did not return. The MRI today came back clean, and he shouldn't miss too much time, if any. However, with fantasy football all but done for the season, it's time for us to be just as watchful with our fantasy basketball rosters.
If the injury continues to hamper LeBron, or if he wants to take a short week of rest, here are three players you can grab off the waiver wire.
3. Thaddeus Young - PF (Indiana Pacers)

Thaddeus Young (available in 81.5 percent of ESPN fantasy basketball leagues) is a solid contributor, mainly because of his versatility. Perhaps, his finest quality is the ability to get steals and post near double-doubles on a regular basis. Young is the perfect addition if you're looking for that last piece to finalize your championship roster.
2. Emmanuel Mudiay - PG (New York Knicks)

The Knicks backcourt rotation is usually a tough one to navigate, but Mudiay (available in 88.8 percent of ESPN fantasy basketball leagues) has played at least 30 minutes in each of the last seven games. Also, in some of these more favorable matchups recently against the Hawks and Suns, Mudiay has cracked the 30-point mark.
1. Larry Nance Jr. - PF/C (Cleveland Cavaliers)

LeBron's former teammate, Larry Nance Jr. (available in 65.3 percent of ESPN fantasy basketball leagues), has been incredibly valuable to the Cavs with Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and the newly-acquired John Henson all on the shelf. To make matters more advantageous for Nance, only Thompson is expected to return any time soon. Nance also has three double-doubles over the last four games.
