4 Players to Pick Up and Stash For the Fantasy Football Playoffs

The fantasy football playoffs are upon us and it's time to make any and all moves to help your team win the crown. It's no longer about your team's depth, it's about trusting your studs and playing matchups with your FLEX players. But don't be afraid to head to the waiver wire to try and bolster your team, as you only get one chance to advance.

There aren't a lot of game-changing players left on the waiver wire at this point in the season, but there are some players left that you can target for specific matchups over the next few weeks. Here are four players to pick up now and get in your lineup, when the time is right.

4. Jaylen Samuels, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

With James Conner out, you can get a No. 1 running back on a top-flight offense for free right now. Samuels should fit right into the Steelers' game plan and even did so toward the end of the team's Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Samuels is a must-add and a must-start for anyone who's in the playoffs this week.

3. Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Mark Andrews is the Ravens' top tight end and has seen plenty of looks over the past couple of weeks. With a matchup against the Chiefs, the 31st-ranked defense against tight ends, in Week 14 and a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16, Andrews is a sleeper at tight end in two of the three playoff weeks. If he can get in the end zone, Andrews might win a league or two.

2. Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

Lost in the mess that has been the Buffalo Bills this season, Josh Allen has been balling the past two weeks. Since coming back from injury, he put up 26.3 fantasy points against Jacksonville and 28.7 against Miami. He plays the New York Jets and Detroit Lions the next two weeks and might be a bold but risky play, if you have quarterback that you don't trust.

1. Curtis Samuel, WR, Carolina Panthers

Curtis Samuel has been an under-the-radar stud over the past few weeks and is honestly worth the pick up on potential alone. But given his matchup against the Cleveland Browns in Week 14 and the Atlanta Falcons during Championship Week 16, he's absolutely worth a pick up and a start, especially with his being owned in just 25 percent of leagues. If Samuel remains under the radar, he will win smart owners a championship in a few short weeks.
