San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida is once again listed as questionable going into Sunday's matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. He has been dealing with injuries the past couple weeks, but it seems this week, his backup Raheem Mostert could take on an even bigger role.
The last two weeks, while splitting carries with Bredia and Morris, Mostert filled in nicely by averaging 7.7 yards per carry. With only 19 carries combined the last two weeks, it's safe to assume that workload will do nothing but increase against the Cardinals.
Mostert is available in most leagues and could be a perfect stop gap if you're an owner of Breida. It's likely that Mostert's long-term relevancy won't be there, but he could be a perfect fill-in for the time being.
