The Dallas Cowboys have even more injury trouble on their defense.

It has seemed like a waiting game for the Cowboys all season. When will the passing attack figure it out? When will Jason Garrett make the correct play calls? When will these defensive linemen finally explode onto the scene? Some of those questions have been answered, but the last may still be in jeopardy.

Randy Gregory underwent a minor knee scope.

This sounds bad, but could this actually end up helping the Cowboys?

Right now, it's clear that something is wrong with Gregory. He's played around half the team snaps thus far this season with only one sack, which came against the Jaguars in Week 6.

Undergoing a knee scope probably doesn't sound like he's going to get more snaps, but it could mean he won't be as tight of a pitch count moving forward.

Being healthy means more playing time. More playing time means more opportunity. More opportunity means more snaps. Is it a stretch? We'll have to see when Gregory returns to the field against a Titans defense that has allowed 22 sacks thus far this season.
