It's hard to believe, but we're nearly halfway through the 2018-19 college football season already.

With five weeks of battles under our belts, only two Power Five programs remain unbeaten against the spread, and who they are might surprise you.

Move over Alabama, Clemson and Georgia, because it's time to make room for unranked Washington State and No. 9 West Virginia. Overall, these teams are still an impressive 8-1 combined, but more importantly, the Cougars and Mountaineers are a perfect 9-0 against the spread this season.

WVU and Washington State will both have tough battles ahead of them in Week 6 to remain unbeaten ATS, but not from a competition standpoint. In fact, quite the opposite as West Virginia will have to cover 29 points against Kansas, while WSU will be looking to cover 16 points against Oregon State.

If you're brave enough to venture well beyond Power Five football on your betting slip, Utah State, Appalachian State, and Georgia Southern are all undefeated ATS through Week 5 as well.
