As we come down the stretch of the 2018 MLB season, three win total over/unders are still hanging in the balance.


  • ​Chicago Cubs: 94.5
  • ​Detroit Tigers: 68.5
  • ​Miami Marlins: 64.5


Both National League teams, the Cubs and Marlins, have a better shot of reaching their implied win totals. The Cubs need to finish 4-1 over their final five games while the Marlins need to be 3-1 over the final four. 

The Tigers, unfortunately, need to go 5-0 in their last five games to avoid hitting the under. Good luck with that, especially after the season they've had thus far. 


Of the 27 win totals settled thus far, 12 teams hit the over. If these three hit, exactly half of the league will go over and half will go under. It's unlikely, but that would be symmetrical for oddsmakers.
