You probably came close to having a heart attack watching the Giants-Texans game if you bet on the total. With a little over two minutes left and the game all but over, the Giants comfortably led 27-15. In the closing seconds, the Texans had one last drive with the majority of the field to cover.

The total at most books closed at 42.5.

It was clear the Texans wouldn't kick a field goal down by 12 points, so all you needed as a bettor of the under was a Giants stop. Sure, Deshaun Watson wound up passing for 385 yards, but getting in the end zone was not a common occurrence for the Texans most of the afternoon.

The Texans kept driving and driving, with seemingly nothing to gain and then finally, as the clock dwindled down to one second left, Deshaun Watson zipped a short touchdown pass to Lamar Miller, notching the game's final score.

When the clock hit 0:00, it was 27-22 in favor of the Giants -- well over the 42.5 total.
