According to the FanDuel Sportsbook, the Week 3 matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins is currently slated for a 45.5-point over/under.

But that’s about three fewer points than it initially opened at earlier this week.

The casual fan will likely see all the firepower in this game and think 45.5 should be an easy number to hit. However, it should be noted that both teams have run their offenses at a slower pace than we're used to from years previous.

We can attribute this to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers playing with a partially-hurt knee and Redskins quarterback Alex Smith trying to find some level of comfort in his first year with the team.

Also, the Redskins defense has allowed the fewest total yards (494) in the NFL through Week 2. They completely crippled the Arizona Cardinals' offense in Week 1 and only allowed 281 total yards in their 21-9 loss in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.

I know the 45.5 points in a game with Rodgers sounds too good to be true, but that's usually when you sprint the other way.
