Philadelphia Eagles running backs Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles have been listed as day-to-day by head coach Doug Peterson.
Sproles already sounds like he'll be doubtful for this game, and the recent promotion of Josh Adams from the practice squad makes it seem like things could be a bit worse than indicated, not just for Sproles.
Doug Peterson says RBs Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles are both day-to-day but said Sproles’ recovery is “a little longer.” Team promoted RB Josh Adams to the roster yesterday. Sounds like Sproles is doubtful.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) September 19, 2018
Ajayi, however, is the one who fantasy owners are likely more concerned about. His 85 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries so far this season could be missing from the Eagles lineup on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fortunately, at least for fans, the Eagles are loaded with talent at the running back position. Even without Ajayi, guys like Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood could step into a nice role, and they'll make for great value plays in both daily and season-long formats if Ajayi does indeed miss Week 3.
