After removing Le'Veon Bell from their depth chart yesterday, the Pittsburgh Steelers have made it very clear that they're done dealing with his holdout drama.
Now, it seems his fantasy owners are equally fed up, but for the opposite reason.
With what was probably a rough Week 1 loss for those without the No. 1 overall preseason rated fantasy player in their lineup, one disgruntled Bell owner started a GoFundMe campaign to help the All-Pro back get the money he wants to get him back on the field, solely for fantasy purposes.
And he's $80 million away from making that dream into a reality.
It's amazing what frustration and desperation can do to a fantasy football owner, isn't it?
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Bell is going to end his holdout anytime soon. He was once again a no-show at the Steelers' facility Wednesday, seemingly content with holding out another week until the Steelers give in to his contract demands.
However, there's a very thin silver lining here. Bell must sign his franchise tender before the November deadline in order to be a free agent in 2019, potentially putting him back on the field just in time for the final stretch before fantasy playoffs.
Hopefully, it doesn't come to that. But if it does, good luck keeping yourself afloat, Bell owners.
