The NBA season gets underway in just over a month, and that means we're finally in betting and prediction range.

With LeBron James in the Western Conference now, the East is suddenly wide open.

LeBron is the closest thing the NBA has to a mortal All-Star lock, but since he's no longer in the picture, who will be the new favorite in the East to be an All-Star?

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the new favorite in the East and, according to the odds, it's not particularly close. Antetokounmpo comes in at -2400 to make the All-Star team, while the next closest favorites are Joel Embiid and Kyrie Irving at -550. So there are a lot of new names in the East, but barring injury, the top six favorites are likely to make the team.

The most intriguing guys come farther down with Victor Oladipo garnering some MVP buzz heading into the season and a potential big comeback year on the way for Gordon Hayward. Also don't forget about Andre Drummond, who's made the All-Star Team two of the last three years, at +145.

It's hard to tell this early who will be healthy and who will perform well, but we can truly see there has been a shift in the balance of power in the East. Now there's a new class of players ready to take over.
