Whether you're betting with him or against him, Cubs pitcher Cole Hamels has proven he can single-handedly make or break an MLB wager since being traded to Chicago.

After starting the season 5-9 with a 4.72 ERA on the Rangers, Hamels has turned into a very different pitcher since putting on a Cubs jersey, going 4-0 with a 0.69 ERA through six starts with Chicago. That's good enough for the third-lowest ERA by any pitcher in his first six appearances for one team since 1920.

Chicago remains undefeated as a team in Hamels' six starts since being acquired. While, of course, maintaining a 0.69 ERA is improbable, make sure you keep an eye out for Hamels' next start this coming Sunday against the team he helped win a World Series, the Phillies.
