The 2021 NFL season got off to a great start through Weeks 1 and 2, with plenty of surprises and fantastic games. Another full slate of games is upon us again this week, and there are plenty of matchups to place some wagers on.

Using odds from FanDuel Sportsbook, here are three teams that could be on upset alert in Week 3.

1. New York Giants (-3) vs Atlanta Falcons

This battle of 0-2 teams sees the New York Giants favored at home by 3 points. Neither of these teams has looked impressive through Weeks 1 and 2, but the Giants appear to have some chemistry issues brewing after a gut-punch loss against the Washington Football Team. The Falcons also had the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a one-score game heading into the fourth quarter last week. That's certainly a confidence boost and proof this team can battle from behind. Matt Ryan coughed up the ball too many times (3 INTs) against the Bucs, but New York's defense isn't forcing turnovers at an exceptional rate (1 per game thus far).

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.5) @ Los Angeles Rams

Next up on the list is a pair of undefeated teams, two of only seven remaining across the NFL. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams, but hold as 1.5-point favorites. Tampa Bay, despite Tom Brady's brilliance, hasn't looked in full gear yet. They are 2-0 and own the league's highest-scoring output (39.5 points per game), but have turned the ball over a league-high 5 times. On the other side of the ball, this Rams defense is scary on all fronts. Jalen Ramsey leads an intimidating secondary and with Aaron Donald getting after the quarterback, it's a nightmarish matchup. LA's defense ranks T-3rd with 2.00 turnovers forced per game while allowing just 216.5 passing yards per game. That mark ranks 11th in the NFL and stops the strongest aspect of this Buccaneers offense. Look for the West Coast road trip to be too much for Tampa Bay, at least until they clean up the turnover act.

3. San Francisco 49ers (-3.5) vs Green Bay Packers

It's probably time to give Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers a mulligan for their pathetic Week 1 performance against the New Orleans Saints. Green Bay bounced back on Monday Night Football, albeit against a bad Detroit Lions team, and the offense looked every bit in sync (35 points, 4 TDs from Aaron Jones). San Francisco also played the Lions and gave up 33 points, proving Dan Campbell's team isn't a free walk in the park. What's most concerning about this matchup is the 49ers' health. All five of San Francisco's top running backs are either out for the year or on this week's injury report. Green Bay's defense hasn't looked incredible, but the secondary is solid with Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes and Adrian Amos. The Packers offense, featuring Aaron Jones, is too much for San Francisco's defense that hasn't quite found their identity yet (379.0 yards per game allowed, 14th).
