Sunday Night Football in Week 1 features a competitive NFC matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Rams. Despite hosting the game in their brand new stadium, the Rams are slight underdogs.

Still, the Rams winning wouldn't be at all shocking. However, there could be some surprises in the game. With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for the Rams against the Cowboys.

3. Rams Sack Dak Prescott Five Times

The Cowboys have the reputation of having a rock solid offensive line. However, center Travis Frederick retired and right tackle La'el Collins was placed on IR, giving this unit two holes for LA to ram through. The Cowboys will really feel the loss of Fredrick with interior pressure from Aaron Donald, and that should open up room for the edge rushers to get home.

2. Rams Run For Over 150 Yards

Last season, the Rams averaged 93.7 rushing yards per game (No. 26 in NFL). They could start the season off by beating last season's average by over 50 yards. Not only do they have an electric rookie in Cam Akers, Sean McVay has a whole committee to play with, and we could see many creative rushing plays. Also, the Rams used two tight end sets heavily down the stretch last season, and continuing that could give the running game a big boost.

1. No Turnovers For the Rams

Last season, we saw Jared Goff struggle under pressure. The Rams also have inexperienced running backs, which is also a red flag for turnovers. However, Sean McVay should have this team ready to go, and the Cowboys aren't especially great at forcing turnovers. Dallas forced just 1.1 turnovers per game last season, tied for 24th in the NFL.
