The Seattle Seahawks have been among the most consistent franchises in the league since Russell Wilson took over in 2012. Even before this recent era, though, the Seahawks have had a pretty consistent history of success, fielding talented players across many different positions.

And wide receiver is certainly no exception. With that in mind, let's take a look at the three greatest wide receivers in Seattle's history.

3. Brian Blades (1988-98)

Brian Blades has a strong case to be No. 2 on this list, but we'll keep him at No. 3. Blades was excellent for the better part of a decade in Seattle, tallying four seasons with 1,000-plus receiving yards. He only made one Pro Bowl in his 11-year career (1989), but he ranks second in team history in receiving yards (7,620) and receptions (581).

2. Doug Baldwin (2011-18)

As mentioned above, it was a close call between Blades and Doug Baldwin, but the Stanford product gets the nod. He has a significant edge over Blades in touchdowns (scoring 49 to Blades' 34), and did so in 33 fewer games. Baldwin was a key part of the team's 2013 Super Bowl victory and made two Pro Bowls during his eight-year tenure in Seattle.

1. Steve Largent (1976-89)

As effective as Baldwin was, however, he can't compete with the best receiver in the franchise's history – Steve Largent. Largent is the most prolific receiver in team history, and it's not even really close. His 13,089 receiving yards are 5,469 more than the next-best mark in franchise history, his 100 receiving TDs are more than double the second-best mark in that category. Largent is a seven-time Pro Bowler, and was a first-team All-Pro selection in 1985, when he lead the league with 1,287 receiving yards. Notably, that's still the best single-season yardage mark in franchise history.
