On Thursday Night Football for Week 2, the Cincinnati Bengals make the drive to take on the Cleveland Browns. In the battle of Ohio, the Bengals are currently the 7-point road underdogs.

While it would not be shocking to see the Browns lose a game they are favored in, this one could bring some surprises. With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for the Bengals against the Browns.

3. Joe Burrow Passes for 300 Yards

Joe Burrow had some really great moments in the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. After passing for 193 yards against a tough Chargers defense, he faces an easier matchup with the Browns. Cleveland had been dealing with injuries to their secondary this offseason, and that showed in Week 1 when they gave up 275 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 25 attempts to Lamar Jackson, while also containing the running game. The Bengals will likely struggle to run as well, so look for Burrow to pass a lot in prime time.

2. A.J. Green Scores a Touchdown

It has been quite the journey back to the field for A.J. Green, but he put together a full game in Week 1. Along with Burrow passing more this week, Green should benefit, and I predict he finds the end zone for the first time since 2018. Green has scored 3 touchdowns in his last four games against the Browns.

1. Bengals Hold Baker Mayfield Under 200 Passing Yards

The Bengals played solid defense in Week 1, limiting Tyrod Taylor to 16-of-30 passing for 208 yards. They should play solid defense yet again, facing a struggling Baker Mayfield. The Browns passer threw for 189 yards, with a touchdown and an interception, in their Week 1 game. This means that he has been held under 200 passing yards in four of his last six games, including a 192-yard outing against Cincinnati last December. A short week of preparation will also likely lead to the Browns taking a more run-heavy approach, and Mayfield could be a non-factor once again.
