3 Broncos Players Least Likely to Still Be on the Roster by the End of 2020

The Denver Broncos are continuing their rebuild under head coach Vic Fangio and have made moves to fit these changes. Highlighting the offseason transactions so far, the Broncos signing of free agent running back Melvin Gordon.
The Broncos likely aren't done making alterations, and these changes could continue into the regular season. These are three Bronco players that are the least likely to still be on the team by the end of the 2020 season.
1. Royce Freeman, Running Back
As stated previously, Denver signed Gordon, who was previously with the LA Chargers. This creates a crowded backfield, with one player likely to go. The Broncos seem committed to Phillip Lindsay and he could be a nice complement to Gordon, which makes Royce Freeman the most expendable. Due less than $1 million, he is also an easy player for another team to trade for around draft time.
2. Jake Butt, Tight End
The former fifth-round pick out of Michigan has had a tough start to his NFL career. Jake Butt has struggled to stay healthy, playing just three games so far. While it's easy to see the potential in Butt, he cannot be trusted to be available. The Broncos went out and signed Nick Vannett in free agency, so its probable that one tight end needs to go, Butt seems to be the most likely cut.
3. Juwann Winfree, Wide Receiver
The Broncos are likely to add more wide receiver talent to their roster, whether it be through free agency or the NFL Draft, which is deep at the position this year. Juwann Winfree has not been a strong contributor to this team and Denver would owe him more money if he were to remain on the team in June. So, Winfree is likely gone sooner rather than later, as long as the Broncos are able to acquire the wide receiver upgrade they seek.
