Former MLB outfielder Yasiel Puig hasn't been in the majors since 2019, but that doesn't mean he still isn't causing trouble out on the diamond. Puig is now playing in the Mexican baseball league and recently made headlines for causing a bench clearing incident to go down during a game.

It's safe to say no one is surprised when watching the viral video. Puig has always had an intense passion for the game and a knack for showing his emotions no matter the outcome. You can see he has words with the opposing pitcher after he watches a called strike go by in the first pitch of an at bat.

That conversation eventually led to both benches clearing out onto the field. It doesn't seem like any punches were thrown, but it's hard to tell what happens when everyone gets riled up at each other.

In his last full season of play, Puig posted a slash line of .267/.327/.458 and hit 24 home runs in 149 games. Overall, he has racked up 441 runs scored and 415 RBI throughout the course of his seven MLB seasons. Puig even made the All-Star game during his breakout 2014 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

It wouldn't be shocking to see Puig eventually join an MLB team once again given the amount of injuries that seem to be occurring across the league. For now, he will keep making plays and upsetting opponents down in Mexico.
