The MLB's inaugural Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa, certainly did not disappoint. Especially for Chicago White Sox fans.

Sure, it would have been nice for Liam Hendriks to convert the ninth-inning save, but that mishap set up the magical Tim Anderson walk-off home run.

After the thrilling 9-8 White Sox victory, Chicago got some exciting news. Several of the team's items from the Field of Dreams Game will be headed to the MLB Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Naturally, first up on the list in Anderson's cleats. He walked away the hero on Thursday and showed any new baseball fans tuning in just how good he is.

Eloy Jimenez, who went 2-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBIs, will see his Field of Dreams game-worn jersey enshrined. Additionally, starting pitcher Lance Lynn's baseball cap will make the trip to Cooperstown.

All in all, the Field of Dreams Game seemed wildly successful for the league. The New York Yankees and White Sox did not disappoint, and this thrilling matchup could be seen again come October baseball.
