White Sox Get Great News on Lance Lynn Injury Update
By Max Staley

The Chicago White Sox have been hit hard by the injury bug this season. Key contributors like Eloy Jimenez, Tim Anderson and Adam Engel have all missed chunks of time this year.
But the injury issues have also impacted the pitching staff, as Lance Lynn was also placed on the 10-day IL. Lynn hasn't pitched since April 15, but it sounds as if the former All-Star is nearing a return.

Lance Lynn Injury News
It sounds like Lynn will be back next weekend, and he's reportedly hoping to return on Friday to face the Cleveland Indians.
To be more specific, the plan is Friday next week for Lynn to return.

This is great news for a banged-up White Sox club, as Lynn has been tremendous in limited action thus far. The 33-year-old has a 0.92 ERA through three starts, racking up 27 strikeouts in just 19 2/3 innings pitched.
His return should help a White Sox team that's looking to get back atop the standings in the AL Central, as Chicago (10-9) currently trails the first-place Kansas City Royals by 1.5 games.
Despite all of the injury issues, the White Sox are still the favorites to win the AL Central at -105, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
