The Golden State Warriors are in the middle of a quest for back-to-back NBA Championships, but they have been working to accomplish that goal without veteran forward Andrew Wiggins for over a month now. The 28-year-old baller continues to be away from the team due to personal reasons.

Latest Andrew Wiggins Update

Wiggins has missed each of the last 18 games and there has been little to no updates on when he will be back with the Warriors. Head coach Steve Kerr has remained supportive throughout Wiggins' absence, stating "our players and our coaches, front office, we're all thinking about Wiggs every day."

Wiggins isn't only receiving support from his head coach, but from his teammates as well. The former Kansas standout plays a big role both on the court and in the locker room. He earned the first All-Star nod of his career last season and is shooting a career-high 39.6% from three-point range this season.

It's on the defensive side of the ball that Wiggins makes the most impact, though. He has long been Golden State's best perimeter defender and his absence has been felt in that area. The Warriors are allowing 13.0 made three-pointers per game this season, which is the fourth-worst mark in the NBA.

As it stands, the Warriors have odds set at +1200 to win the NBA Finals, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
