The Kansas City Chiefs aim for their sixth straight win of the season when they host the Las Vegas Raiders in a Week 14 divisional matchup. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing the Chiefs as the clear-cut 9.5-point home favorites.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 14 showdown.
Hunter Renfrow Fantasy
Start Hunter Renfrow, WR, Las Vegas Raiders: Hunter Renfrow has been a target machine as of late, seeing at least nine targets in four of his last five games. He's also been PPR's WR8 since Week 9, averaging 16.8 fantasy points per game in that stretch. While the Chiefs defense has been great lately, that shouldn't deter managers from starting Renfrow. He's clearly Derek Carr's favorite target and should see a lot of work with the Raiders likely trailing for most of the game. Unless proven otherwise, it should be another WR1/2 finish for the former Clemson Tiger.
Patrick Mahomes Fantasy
Start Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs: The idea of telling people to start Patrick Mahomes seems silly, but, he's disappointed managers lately as QB17 since Week 7. Fortunately, he's up against a Raiders defense that's allowed 22 passing touchdowns (T-4th) and the 14th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Considering Mahomes has 20 passing TDs and averages 326.9 passing yards per game in seven career meetings with the Raiders, this week seems like the perfect opportunity for him to bounce back into fantasy superstardom.
DeSean Jackson Fantasy
Sit DeSean Jackson, WR, Las Vegas Raiders: After impressing PPR managers with 19.2 fantasy points (WR8) in Week 12, DeSean Jackson put up just 2.4 last week (WR77). The truth is that he's a hard fantasy option to trust because of his boom-or-bust nature, caused by him averaging just 1.5 targets in four games with Las Vegas. The Chiefs are giving up the eighth-fewest fantasy points to wideouts this season, which doesn't bode well for Jackson in his current state. Until he sees a more consistent offensive role, he belongs on the bench unless you have no other options.
Byron Pringle Fantasy
Byron Pringle Fantasy, WR, Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs had high hopes this season that either Mecole Hardman or Byron Pringle would emerge as the team's No. 2 wide receiver. Pringle has done that at times, however, he's too inconsistent to be a trusted pass-catching option in fantasy. He's finished with just one or zero receptions in four of his last five games, including when he played a season-high 72% of offensive snaps last week. With the Raiders giving up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wideouts, there are better WR options than Pringle this week.
