This week's matchup between the Washington Football Team and the Detroit Lions may not be at the top of most fans' list to watch on Sunday, but both teams have some interesting players for fantasy football.

With that in mind, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this matchup.

Start J.D. McKissic, RB, Washington Football Team: J.D. McKissic is emerging as a crucial part of the Washington Football Team offense. His receiving-heavy role saw him phased out of the game plan in a Week 7 blowout win, but he notched 6-plus receptions in the other four of his last five games. In that stretch he's averaging 6.0 receptions on 7.6 targets per game.

Start T.J. Hockenson, TE, Detroit Lions: The tight end position is very thin this week, and T.J. Hockenson is one of the top options at the position. He's caught 5-plus passes in each of his last three games, averaging 5.7 receptions, 54.3 yards and 0.7 touchdowns on 8.0 targets per game in that stretch. Don't expect him to slow down much against a Washington defense that allows the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position.

Sit Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Football Team: Even with tight end thin, it's really hard to get excited about Logan Thomas these days. The last time he caught more than 4 passes in a single game was in 2018, and he's only topped 50 yards once this season, averaging 29.5 per game. The Washington offense doesn't score enough to make a TD-dependent producer particularly interesting.

Sit Danny Amendola, WR, Detroit Lions: Danny Amendola has been an occasional fantasy option as the Lions' WR2 with Kenny Golladay on the shelf, but he's not in play this week. Matthew Stafford's status is still uncertain due to a concussion suffered in Week 9, and even if Stafford plays this isn't a great spot. Washington has actually held opposing wideouts to the NFL's fewest fantasy points per game, and they rank first in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA metric.
