With Week 1 kickoff now just a day away and Ezekiel Elliott back on the field with the Dallas Cowboys, here are our updated Week 1 fantasy football rankings for standard scoring leagues.

30. Adam Thielen, WR - Minnesota Vikings vs Atlanta Falcons

29. Keenan Allen, WR - Los Angeles Chargers vs Indianapolis Colts

28. Zach Ertz, TE - Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Redskins

27. Devonta Freeman, RB - Atlanta Falcons @ Minnesota Vikings

26. Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals @ Seattle Seahawks

25. Todd Gurley, RB - Los Angeles Rams @ Carolina Panthers

24. Jameis Winston, QB - Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs San Francisco 49ers

23. Kerryon Johnson, RB - Detroit Lions @ Arizona Cardinals

22. Davante Adams, WR - Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears

21. Travis Kelce, TE - Kansas City Chiefs @ Jacksonville Jaguars

The Kansas City Chiefs' offense led the NFL with 34.8 points per game (PPG) in 2018, and we could see them them to do plenty of scoring again in 2019, even against a tough Jacksonville Jaguars defense. The Jags' Jalen Ramsey is set to shadow Tyreek Hill this week, which could leave Travis Kelce as the top receiver for KC, especially after the Jags allowed the fewest fantasy PPG to WRs last season, but still ranked a middling 17th against TEs in 2018. Kelce led the position in fantasy scoring last year, and he's more than capable of finishing as the Chiefs' leading receiver in any given week.

20. Mike Evans, WR - Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs San Francisco 49ers

19. Julio Jones, WR - Atlanta Falcons @ Minnesota Vikings

18. Carson Wentz, QB - Philadelphia Eagles vs Washington Redskins

17. Deshaun Watson, QB - Houston Texans @ New Orleans Saints

16. James Conner, RB - Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots

15. Le'Veon Bell, RB - New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills

14. David Johnson, RB - Arizona Cardinals vs Detroit Lions

13. Dalvin Cook, RB - Minnesota Vikings vs Atlanta Falcons

12. Chris Carson, RB - Seattle Seahawks vs Cincinnati Bengals

Volume is king for most running backs' fantasy production, and Chris Carson has a real shot to lead the NFL in carries in Week 1. The Seattle Seahawks finished second in rushing attempts in 2018, and they were the only team to call more running plays than passing plays. They open the season as Week 1's biggest favorites in a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, and being favored by double-digit points should call for plenty of rushing volume as they run time off the clock with a potential lead.

11. Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns vs Tennessee Titans

10. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR - Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots

9. Nick Chubb, RB - Cleveland Browns vs Tennessee Titans

8. Drew Brees, QB - New Orleans Saints vs Houston Texans

The New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans combine for the slate's highest projected total, despite featuring a tough Texans' defense on one side of the ball Monday night. Playing at home in the Superdome should give the Saints a big boost, as Drew Brees has averaged 25.5 percent more fantasy PPG at home than on the road over the last three seasons. Brees ranks only behind the reigning NFL MVP in the Week 1 QB conversation.

7. Patrick Mahomes, QB - Kansas City Chiefs @ Jacksonville Jaguars

6. DeAndre Hopkins, WR - Houston Texans @ New Orleans Saints

5. Michael Thomas, WR - New Orleans Saints vs Houston Texans

4. Ezekiel Elliott, RB - Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants

Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys have come to terms on a new contract, meaning Zeke is back in our top five. He'll be the workhorse in the Cowboys' offense and gets a great matchup in Week 1. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Dallas Cowboys are favored by a touchdown over the New York Giants, who also allowed top-10 fantasy production to opposing running backs in 2018.

3. Christian McCaffrey, RB - Carolina Panthers vs Los Angeles Rams

2. Alvin Kamara, RB - New Orleans Saints vs Houston Texans

1. Saquon Barkley, RB - New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys

Saquon Barkley was the top RB in fantasy last year, as well as the owner of the highest average draft position (ADP) for the 2019 season, according to FantasyPros.com. The Giants are heavy underdogs against the Cowboys, but that's not as much of a concern for Barkley as it would be for most other backs. His terrific 2018 fantasy numbers came while the Giants struggled to a 5-11 record. Barkley finished second among RBs with 91 receptions as a rookie, so even if the Giants are forced to go pass-heavy while playing from behind against the Cowboys, Saquon should be largely involved in their game plan.
