The Washington Football Team is gearing up for a big game today against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. A win would catapult them into first first place in the terrible NFC East.

While there was some concern that the team's star wide receiver Terry McLaurin wouldn't be able to suit up for this one, it looks like the second-year wideout will be good to go on Thanksgiving.

McLaurin has been far and away the most lethal option in the passing game for Washington this season. He has 871 receiving yards, more than double anyone else on the roster, and also leads the team in targets (93), catches (62) and tied for the lead in touchdowns (3).

While the Dallas Cowboys' defense hasn't exactly been intimidating this season, it would have been tough to see Washington moving the ball much with McLaurin on the sidelines.

Washington is a 2.5-point road underdog on Thursday afternoon, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
