The NFC playoff race is an exciting one, with more than half dozen teams fighting for a Wild Card spot. Every game is even more crucial from here on out, which is why last night's loss on "Monday Night Football" was a tough one for the Minnesota Vikings. However, the team's odds to make the playoffs remain strong with four games left on the schedule.

If the season ended today, the Vikings would claim the final playoff spot in the NFC. At 8-4, they currently sit one game behind the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North and a Week 16 matchup between the two divisional foes could determine who ultimately wins the division.

Despite Monday's loss, the Vikings have an 86.1 percent chance to make the playoffs, with a 55.5 percent chance of making the playoffs as a Wild Card team and a 30.6 percent chance at winning the division, according to Football Outsiders.

Behind the strong play of Kirk Cousins this season, FanDuel Sportsbook gives the Vikings +260 odds to win the NFC North, while the Packers are the heavy favorites, at -310. The Vikings also have +2900 odds to win the Super Bowl, which ranks as ninth best overall.

With three divisional games remaining on the schedule (Detroit Lions in Week 14, Packers in Week 16 and Chicago Bears in Week 17), it won't be an easy four-game stretch for Minnesota. However, with all three games being played at home, that should improve the Vikings' odds from here on out.
