New Vikings Kicker Misses the Mark With First Tweet After Signing

The Minnesota Vikings recently signed Memphis Tigers kicker Riley Patterson as an undrafted free agent. Patterson may be excited to join the Vikings but he didn't kick things off on the greatest note. In fact, he pretty much completely missed the mark with his first Tweet after signing.

After hearing the news of this signing, Memphis Football's Twitter account paid a nice tribute to one of the best kickers in program history. Patterson was excited too and attempted to reply to the tribute video with "Skol," the official fight chant and song of the Vikings.
It was a great attempt but Patterson completely failed by misspelling the fight song "Skul." Vikings fans were quick to correct the youngster in the following replies.
This little snafu will be all forgotten if Patterson can continue his dominant kicking from college. As a four-year starter, Patterson ranks second in Memphis program history with 432 points and owns a school-record 56-yard career long.
