The Minnesota Vikings were tested in all sorts of ways during their comeback win over the Detroit Lions in Week 3. Minnesota notably pulled off the victory without Dalvin Cook for the entire fourth quarter after he exited with a shoulder injury and was quickly ruled out.

Now the Vikings have gotten some big news on Cook's status for Week 4 in London.

Dalvin Cook Shoulder

ProFootballTalk reports the "current expectation" is Cook won't need to sit next week out against the New Orleans Saints. He'll wear a brace on his injured shoulder and lead Minnesota's backfield in their upcoming international clash.

This is great news for Vikings fans after Minnesota was sent into silence when Cook came up hobbled on Sunday. The star running back has weathered his fair share of injuries throughout his career, missing a handful of games every year since taking over as the Vikings' starter, but that hasn't stopped him from racking up three straight Pro Bowl appearances

After a quiet Week 2, Cook rebounded in a big way against the Lions. He turned 17 carries into 96 yards and a touchdown in just three full quarters.

Now the eletric RB will get a week to rest that hurt shoulder before traveling across the pond to take on the Saints. Opening NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook peg the Vikings as 1-point favorites.
