VIDEO: Remembering When Josh Hamilton Almost Hit the Ball Out of Yankee Stadium During the Home Run Derby

The Home Run Derby has brought a number of incredible performances, from Sammy Sosa, to Mark McGwire to Ken Griffey Jr. However, few, if any can rival what Josh Hamilton did in 2008 at Yankee Stadium.
When Hamilton stepped up the plate in the first round, he put on a show for the ages, setting a derby record. But there was one specific home run that stood out among the bunch.
Hamilton hit a ball so hard and so far, that it came mere feet away from clearing the stadium altogether and landing on 161st Street.
Even Chris Berman couldn't believe what he just witnessed.
As a result of an odd format this year, Hamilton ended up losing the Home Run Derby, despite hitting the most home runs and putting on by far the most impressive performance. But no one remembers who won or who lost, but they'll always remember when Hamilton almost sent one to the moon.
