Chipper Jones is one of the greatest Atlanta Braves of all time. He retired as an eight-time All-Star, an NL MVP, MLB Batting Champion and as a World Series champion. But, perhaps, he could've had a fruitful career with the Atlanta Falcons as well.

Take a look at this hit he put on Philadelphia Phillies catcher Erik Kratz back in 2012.

Chipper absolutely crushes him. But credit to Kratz for hanging onto the ball and actually getting the out at home plate.

Notably, 2012 was actually Chipper's last year in the MLB. Even aside from this play, Jones went out with a bang, making his eighth All-Star appearance and finishing the year with solid slash line of .287/.377/.455, adding 14 home runs and 62 RBI.
