VIDEO: Refs Appear to Completely Blow Huge Call in Auburn-Ole Miss Game
By David Hayes

This year's Auburn Tigers football team has seen an exceptional number of close and controversial calls thus far, and Week 8 of the 2020 college football was certainly no exception.
Having already come out on top of a controversial call that saw the Tigers beat the Arkansas Razorbacks thanks to a backward spike that was ruled an incomplete pass four weeks ago, the Tigers appeared to have skated on what would have been a monumental shift in Week 8's matchup with the Ole Miss Rebels.
With less than 6 minutes remaining in the game, the Tigers were trailing, 28-27, and awaiting an Ole Miss kickoff before Auburn running back Shaun Shivers' finger appeared to have grazed the kickoff before an Ole Miss player dives on it in the end zone.
Upon review, the announcers even noticed this immediately with expressed shock that the officials didn't take a second look at that play either before the Tigers offense managed to get off a snap in the ensuing drive.
Regardless of the accuracy of the call, it is worth noting that both teams had multiple possessions between this call and the end of the game before Auburn eventually came out on top, 35-28.
