Rallying behind an impressive seven-game win streak, the Cleveland Guardians clinched the AL Central division on Sunday afternoon. Cleveland finished off their sweep over the Texas Rangers in emphatic fashion and a final score of 10-4.
This was Cleveland's first AL Central title since 2018, and one that fans were particularly excited about considering the team debuted 16 rookies throughout the year.
Cleveland fans showed up in full force to greet the team with a rousing welcome home at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

It's always fun to witness the true dedication and excitement from a team's fanbase, and Sunday night's party in Cleveland was no different.
Based on the current standings, Cleveland is slated to finish as the No. 3 seed in the new MLB Playoffs format. This would mean the Guardians are not afforded a first-round bye, but will play the third and final AL Wild Card team in a home series.
