If there were any Pittsburgh Steelers fans who doubted the George Pickens selection in May's draft, they've quickly forgotten those doubts.

Pickens has dominated training camp and the preseason, and he already looks to have the potential of a future superstar.

Just look at this one-on-one against two-time All-Pro Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Pickens totally blew by Fitzpatrick with a double-move and made one of his already trademark athletic grabs for the touchdown. Not bad for a rookie who has yet to play a regular season snap.

Obviously this one clip doesn't tell the whole story — this is a drill that typically favors wide receivers, and it's just one play. But it's hard not to get excited about the incredible potential Pickens is already showing off.

The other great piece is his attitude. He went head-to-head with Fitzpatrick more than once at practice yesterday, and it sounds like he was the one requesting those battles.

Not worrying about looking good and playing it safe, Pickens already wants to match up with the best. That drive and competitiveness paired with his talent and athleticism is the recipe that could make him the Steelers' next great wide receiver.

FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds already have Pickens tied for second in the NFL with +1000 odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
