With the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine kicking off next week, teams will get their first up-close looks at some of the top prospects in this year's draft class.

A poor performance can send a player's draft stock tumbling, but an impressive week can have teams falling in love with their future draft picks. We saw just that in 2016, when Carson Wentz dazzled the Philadelphia Eagles, who went on to select him with the No. 2 pick in the draft.

Wow. For a guy who had no NFL experience and was coming from an FCS football program at North Dakota State, Wentz clearly had the kind of knowledge of the game that you're looking for when trying to find a franchise quarterback.

Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert are all hoping to be selected within the top-5 picks in 2020, and they'd be wise to take some notes from Wentz here.

Wentz finally managed to stay healthy in 2019, playing a full 16-game season for the first time since his rookie year, and the Eagles' offense looks like it's in good hands heading into next season.

Heading into his fifth NFL season, Wentz is currently tied with Drew Brees for the sixth-best odds to win the 2020-21 NFL MVP award at +1600, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
