Albert Pujols is still swinging even as he approaches his 42nd birthday. The Machine is spending the offseason playing in the Dominican Winter League with Leones del Escogido, which he's said has been a dream come true.

And on Friday night, Pujols absolutely smashed his first career home run in LIDOM.

It was a moon shot from the former three-time MLB MVP, sending a blast to left field and over the wall of billboards.

The best part of this is Pujols' teammates, who go absolutely wild celebrating while he trots around the bases. The fans in the stands clearly loved seeing the 10-time All-Star crush his first homer too, as his blast sent them into a frenzy.

Pujols' success in the Dominican Winter League will surely give him a chance to latch on with a team once the MLB lockout is resolved. He can still rake as long as he's given the chance.
